Certificates & credit

Know what your certificate means.

Completion certificates

Watch at least 95% of a video course while signed in with course access, then pass its ten-question test. A score over 70% is required: 8 out of 10 or better passes; 7 out of 10 does not. You have up to three submitted attempts per course. Opening a test does not consume an attempt. Results display your score and pass/fail without showing your answers or an answer key. After three unsuccessful attempts, no certificate is issued. Previously issued certificates remain valid as records of completion under the requirements in effect when issued. Once you pass, use View certificate to open a printable certificate containing your learner name, course title, CPE credits and completion details.

Professional credit

Each video course lists its CPE credits (usually 1 credit), and your completion certificate shows that number. Many CPE, CEU and PDU requirements accept self-directed learning documented with a certificate like this.

Credits are self-reported. Whether a course counts toward your requirement is decided by your licensing body, association or employer, so check with them first. No NASBA sponsorship, state-board approval, bar or CLE approval, or license-renewal eligibility is claimed.

Name or access questions

Use your preferred certificate name when registering. Existing certificates preserve the name recorded at issuance. Contact 916-500-0508 about corrections rather than creating another account.
